CHOSEN BY JTA TRAVEL GROUP
London, 12 February 2008 – A range of technology solutions and services from online and dynamic packaging specialist GoQuo Ltd (www.goquo.com) has been chosen by JTA Travel Group (www.jtaonline.co.uk), the award-winning Birmingham-based flight consolidator business. GoQuo will implement hotel and flight booking engines as well as dynamic packaging and distribution technologies.
Winner of the Favourite Consolidator category in the 2006 and 2007 Elite Travel Group Awards, and nominated in the Best Scheduled Consolidator category of the Travel Weekly Globe Awards 2006 and 2007, JTA Travel was established over 30 years ago. Today, it is the largest independent consolidator in the Midlands region.
Through B2C and B2B web sites and call centres, JTA provides both public and trade customer access to thousands of airfares available from hundreds of airlines, as well as hotel accommodation, car rental, transfers and tours.
Its service offer includes consolidated, published and low cost fares, sector fares, and open jaw itineraries, enhanced by a clear pricing policy, quick fare view facility and JTA’s specialist reservations support team.
For JTA, GoQuo will customise, implement and support a B2C and B2B hotel booking engine connected to accommodation suppliers, as well as its GQConsol flight booking engine which enhances fare management and distribution, reduces call centre costs, and maximises sales and profits.
It will be integrated with GQDynamic, GoQuo’s leading-edge dynamic packaging software that helps enhance customer choice and sales opportunity. Other project elements include implementing and supporting a XML-based channel for distributing JTA content to third party customers and online portals, and managing JTA’s online infrastructure to ensure 24/7 availability and operational efficiency.
